A silver mounted ram’s horn snuff mull with a silver rim and ball hinged silver lid embossed with foliate decoration set with a faceted yellow stone ( possibly a cairngorm ) in a rope twist border, small shield shaped cartouche on the lid engraved with the initials W J in italics. Large vacant shield shaped cartouche on the horn. 3.7 inches long. Scottish circa 1830. Excellent condition.
