Victorian Silver Tea & Coffee Service R.718


A large 4 piece early Victorian silver tea and coffee service of fluted melon shape comprising teapot, coffee pot,milk jug and sugar bowl on cast foliate scroll feet with leaf moulded silver scroll handles, shaped rims and domed hinged lids with flower finials. Coffee pot 10.5 inches high, Teapot 11 inches across the handle. 96.4 troy ounces( 2999 grams). Teapot and coffee pot made in London 1836/7 by Edward,Edward Junior,John & William Barnard, the milk jug London 1847 by Edward,John and William Barnard and the sugar bowl in Dublin 1838 by George Alcock. Excellent condition.
