A Victorian 3 piece melon shaped tea sevice on shell and foliate feet comprising a teapot ( 11 inches long from handle to spout) a sugar bowl and cream jug. The teapot with a reeded scroll handle, fluted spout, hinged domed lid with a leaf and rose finial.  39.5 troy ounces ( 1230 grams ) The teapot and cream jug made in Exeter 1852 by Robert,James and Josia Williams. The near matching sugar bowl made in London 1860 by A B Savory and Sons. Cream and sugar with original gilded interiors. All 3 pieces engraved with a Gothic letter.  Excellent condition.
