A pair of 18th. Century circular silver wine coasters on reeded feet decorated with a border of bright cut garlands, rectangular cartouche engraved with foliate corners and a seated lion crest. Turned hardwood bases. 4.8 inches diameter ( 12 cm.) Made in London 1797. Makers mark worn possibly Robert Hennell 1. Silver in good condition, some wine stains to the wood in 1 coaster.
