An antique coromandel ladies travelling dressing case containing 10 hobnail cut glass bottles, jars and boxes with hallmarked silver lids. The box inlaid with brass stringing on the top and sides, central engraved brass cartouche to the lid and recessed brass carrying handles. Mirror and stationary compartment concealed in the lid. Lift out tray with silver handles. ( no manicure set). 12 x 9 x 6 inches. The silver lids on all ten pieces chased with foliate scroll work and a circular central cartouche. LargestĀ box 7 inches long. Made in London 1852 by William Neal. Glass and silver all in excellent condition. Minor stress cracks on coromandel commensurate with age.
