An 18th. century style sterling silver oil and vinegar cruet comprising 2 faceted glass bottles with silver scroll handles, waisted necks and hinged navette shaped silver lids with pierced shell thumb pieces. A ring handled sterling silver stand with circular fluted bottle supports on a pierced navette shaped base with 4 reeded feet, reeded borders with floral terminals. Bottles 18 cms. high. Length of stand 25 cms. 21 cms. high. weight of stand 8.6 troy ounces ( 268 grams.) Made in London 1896/7 by Thomas Bradbury. Excellent condition.
