A very rare 18th. century Channel Islands silver christening cup/bowl with 2 scroll handles. 6 inches across the handles. 133 grams. inscribed S * MOCQVET on one side and MSM on the other, Clearly marked for Jean Gavey, Jersey circa 1750. Good condition, minor bruises, in need of a clean.
