An early Victorian 3 piece silver travelling communion set comprising a gilt lined silver chalice on a knopped stem, 3.5 inches high. A paten on a circular foot, 2.5 inches diameter and a cylindrical glass bottle and stopper with a silver cap, 3.8 inches high. All 3 pieces engraved i h s. within a sun-burst. All in original red silk lined black leather box. Made in London 1858 by George John Richards & Edward Charles Brown. Silver plaque on outside of box with later presentation inscription dated. 1896. Immaculate condition.
