Georgian Silver Tankard U.07

An 18th. century silver tankard of tapering cylindrical shape on a skirt foot the scroll handle with a heart shaped terminal. Turned lip and applied girdle to lower body.  The handle engraved with the original owner’s initials” C A M 1769″. 6.5 inches ( 16 cm ) high. Capacity 1 litre. 18 troy ounces ( 559 grams ). Made in London 1769 by William & Robert Peaston. Good condition
