An Edwardian square silver inkstand with a stepped bead-edged base and 4 swan shaped pen rests tapering to a stepped square hinged lid with an Adam style finial. Engraved with a double crest on the front. 5.3 inches square. Fitted with original clear glass well. Made in Sheffield 1907 by Hawksworth Eyre & Co. Ltd. Provenance: from the sale of contents of Hooton Pagnell Hall. Immaculate condition.
