N. 612: A pair of George III silver wine coasters of ogee shape with reeded edges and base, engraved with a central freize of leaves, vacant laurel cartouches and turned hardwood bases. 5.7 inches diameter. Made in London 1793 by John Emes, hallmarks worn, but legible. £1150 pair.
M.831: A pair of George III silver wine coasters with a central fluted band and applied dentil moulded rim on turned oak bases with central vacant bosses,. 6.2 inches diameter, 1.9 inches high. Made in Newcastle by John Robertson & John Walton circa. 1815. £1200 pair.
L.980: A pair of George III silver wine coasters of plain moulded form with reeding to the foot and rim, turned wooden bases with vacant central boss. 5.25 inches diameter. Made in London 1806. Makers mark unclear, possibly Thomas Dealtry. £1500 pair.
L.893: A good pair of George III silver wine coasters embossed with grapes, vine leaves and scroll work, gadrooned edges and reeded bases, turned wood bases with central silver reeded boss engraved with armorial of a raised arm wielding a broken sword. 6.2 inches diameter, 2.5 inches deep. Made in Sheffield 1815 by S.C. Young & Co. £1500 pair. L.494: A pair of modern heavy quality commemorative silver gilt wine coasters, the detachable sides pierced and decorated with lion's masks, fleur des lys, scrolls and ropetwist, the hardwood bases each set with a silver-gilt armorial. Numbered 43 and 44 of a limited edition of 400 commissioned from the Aurum Designs of London to celebrate the 700th. anniversary of St. Thomas of Hereford, accompanied with original certificates signed by the Bishop of Hereford.
