A mid-Victorian oval silver wine ewer with a double scroll handle applied with lozenge and leaf decoration, the foot neck and shaped spout with beaded decoration, weighted lid. The body engraved with classical female figures. Applied central oval cartouche with scroll-work surround. 12.5 inches high. 21 troy ounces. Made in London 1866.
