Teapot 10.8 inches long, 8 inches high. 32 troy ounces gross weight. Made in Birmingham 1898 by T.W. £580 set.
O.135: A late Victorian oval silver tea service embossed with bead and wrythen fluted foliate decoration, vacant central cartouche to all 3 pieces, teapot with fruitwood handle. Teapot 10 inches across. Made in London 1898 by Charles Stuart Harris. £440.
O.151: A 3 piece silver tea service of shouldered circular form with Greek key borders the lower band with applied masks, the teapot with carved ivory handle and finial, leaf wrapped handles with bifurcated junctions and square pedestal feet. Teapot 10.5 inches across the handle. 34 troy ounces gross weight. Made in Birmingham 1913/15 by William Hutton & Sons. £600 set.
O.190: A four piece silver tea service of vase form with applied ribbed panels on spreading pedestal feet. The teapot and coffee pot with domed hinged lids, shaped composition handles and finials. Height of coffee pot 9 inches. Made by Adie Bros. in Birmingham 1926/28. £800 set.
O.89: An Art Deco rectangular 4 piece silver tea service with canted corners on similar conforming bases. The tea and coffee pots with composition handles and finials. Teapot 11 inches long. gross weight 56 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1934/5 by Cooper Bros. & Sons Ltd. £800.
O.53: An oval 4 piece partially fluted silver tea service on a flat base with gadrooned edges, comprising a tea and coffee pot with ebony handles, a cream jug and sugar bowl with angular silver handles. 55 troy ounces. Coffee pot 9 inches tall. Made in Sheffield 1964 by E P & Co. £680 set.
N.901: An early 20th. century rectangular 3 piece silver tea set with half fluted decoration, foliate and scroll rims, 4 ball feet, the cream and sugar with leaf capped reeded silver handles, teapot with a flush partially fluted hinged lid, ebony handle and carved finial. Teapot 11 inches long. Gross weight: 38 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1918 by William Hutton & Sons. £550 the set.
N.694: An Art Deco 4 piece rectangular silver tea service with applied stepped corners and scroll support feet, the tea and coffee pot with flush hinges, wooden handles and shaped finials. Coffee pot 8 inches high. 61 troy ounces. Made in Edinburgh 1938 by H.T. £850.
N.526: A 4 piece oval silver tea service, comprising a spirit kettle on stand with a burner, the body chased with foliate scroll and lattice work, the stand with four curved legs with shell and scroll decoration. The teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl all similarly decorated and with gadrooned edges, ebony handles to the kettle and teapot. All pieces engraved with the coat of arms of THe Royal Angelsey Royal Engineers. Kettle 13 inches high. 80 troy ounces. Made in Birmingham 1911 by Alexander Clark and Co. £1100.
M.996: An 18th. century silver 4 piece tea and coffee service by the Bateman family, of oval shape with reeded girdles and engraved frieze of feathered panels, oval reeded bases with ball feet and gadrooned rims. The cream jug and sugar bowl with plain triple scroll handles and lightly gilded interiors, teapot and coffee pot with ebonised wooden handles and fluted finials. All pieces with half antelope crest. Some minor old repairs. coffee pot 10 inches tall. 60 troy ounces. Made in London 1786 by Peter & Ann Bateman. £1400.
N.183 An oblong three piece silver tea service with fluted and reeded decoration, leaf capped angular handles, gadrooned edged, on 4 ball feet. 50 troy ounces. Teapot 12 inches across. The cream jug and sugar basin made in London 1816 by Walter Brind. The teapot made to match at a later date by Fattorini Bros of Sheffield in 1904. £680 set.
N.81: A late Victorian 4 piece circular shaped silver tea service on round pedestal feet, embossed with garlands of ribbons and husk swags with a shell and lyre border, the coffee and teapot with ebonised wooden handles and finials, the cream jug and sugar bowl with cast triple scroll horse head handles. Coffee pot 8.5 inches tall. Gross weight 63 ounces ( 1920 grams ). Made in London 1893/5 by Carrington & Co. £950.
M.673: An early 20th. century oval 3 piece silver tea service of good heavy quality on a spreading foot with a similar cape, the body with wide fluting, plain ebony handle and fluted finial. Teapot 10.5 inches across the handles. 38 ounces gross weight. Made in Sheffield 1909/12 by Walker & Hall. £580.
M.495: An Art Deco 3 piece silver tea service of octagonal panneled design with a similar shaped collet foot, the teapot 9.8 inches( 25 cms.) across with hinged panneled lid and ivory handle and finial. 31 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1937 by E.Viner. £780.
E.646 A 3 piece rectangular silver tea service, the tapering panelled body on 4 shell capped scroll feet, inverted rims and angular handles. The teapot with brown composition handle & finial. Teapot 10.5 inches long. 30 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1928/9 by James Deakin & Son. £500. I.843: A rectangular rounded 3 piece silver tea service on a rectangular collet base,the plain bulbous body edged with a pattern of fine double beading enclosing a symmetrical dot pattern.
