An American late 19th. century sterling silver Christening cup on a plain spreading foot with a double scroll handle, beaded rim, the cup embossed with the head of Mercury in a sunburst shield, vacant oval foliate cartouche either side, gilded interior. 4.5 inches tall. Made by H. Semken circa 1880.
