O.05: A large Victorian silver presentation cup, with a beaded knopped stem and bead edged spreading circular foot engraved with floral sprays. The cup similarly engraved with foliate sprays and scroll work, large vacant cartouche either side. 11 inches tall. 18 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1897. £480.
N.992: A late Victorian silver presentation cup with reeded handles, knopped partially fluted stem and spreading circular foot engraved with a wave pattern, the cup also partially fluted and chased with a foliate border. 9.8 inches tall, 8 inches across the handles. 22 troy ounces. Made in London 1880. £440. N.975: A large decorative Victorian 2 handled silver presentation cup with foliate double scroll handles, knopped stem and spreadind circular foot embossed with a freize of entwined ivy decoration, the front of the cup embossed with a spray of roses, the rear with a circular vacant cartouche with a ribbon and laurel surround. Gilded interior. 12.5 inches tall. 31 troy ounces. Made in London 1874. £560.
N.876: A sterling silver trophy with 2 leaf capped scroll handles, knopped stem and tapering circular foot on a comtemporary black wooden plinth. 9 inches tall (excluding plinth), 9.5 inches across the handles, loaded base. Made in Chester 1934. £330.
N.507: An early 20th. century 2 handled silver presentation cup on a spreading colet foot with triple scroll handles and divided by a plain girdle. 6.6 inches tall. 19 troy ounces . Made in Sheffield 1912 by James Dixon & Son. £320. N.396: An 18th. century 2 handled silver loving cup on a spreading circular foot with capped double scroll handles. Later embossed with a scene of 2 horses approaching the winning post cheered on by spectators in the grandstand above. Verso: embossed with a jockey and horse in the countryside, above vacant cartouche with a tree and landscape serround. 5.5 inches tall. Made in London 1783 by Thomas Wallis. £650.
M.563: An Art Deco silver sports trophy in the form of a semi naked female figure standing on tiptoe with a laurel wreath raised in her left hand mounted on an ebonised wooden plinth, central vacant rectangular silver plaque to the front. 10.5 inches tall. Both silver pieces fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1931. £250. ( this piece has never been inscribed)
