O.334: An Edwardian rectangular half fluted silver spirit kettle on a rectangular stand on four double scroll feet  with a shell and gadrooned border, and a fluted burner.  Domed hinged lid with a fluted ebony finial, silver triple section handle. Made in Chester 1910, the burner made in London 1891. 11.4 inches high. 43 troy ounces. £750.

 

O.262 Silver Spirit Kettle              

O.262: An oval silver spirit kettle with a gadrooned edge and half fluted decoration on a pierced and reeded stand with 4 fluted legs with paw feet and a central burner. Domed hinged lid with a double scroll  ebony and silver handle, ebony finial. 40 ounces gross. 12. 5 inches tall. Made in Sheffield 1924 by H. W.  The burner made by Martin Hall & Co.  £680.

 

M.819 Sterling Silver Spirit Kettle 

M.819: An early 20th. century oval silver spirit kettle with a gadrooned rim and fluted body, overhead ebony handle and carved finial. The fret pierced stand on four fluted feet supporting a central ajustable burner. 12 inches high. Gross weight 38 troy ounces. Made in Chester 1915. £700.

N.462: A plain rectangular silver spirit kettle with a reeded edge, hinged lid, double scroll silver and ebony overhead handle on a silver stand with 4 scroll legs and central circular silver burner.  Engraved with a small crest of an armoured arm holding a scimitar. 12 inches high. 47 troy ounces. Made in London 1912 by Carrington & Co.  £720.

 

N.461: A late Victorian half fluted oval silver spirit kettle with a hinged fluted lid, partially reeded silver and ebony overhead handle on a pierced oval silver stand with 4 reeded legs and claw feet, central circular burner. 14 inches high. 40 troy ounces.  Made in Sheffield 1892 by Walker & Hall. £720.

N.364: An Edwardian rectangular silver spirit kettle with shaped fluted corners and a gadrooned edge, hinged lid,  with ebony finial and ebony overhead handle, on a  rectangular silver stand with 4 scroll shaped legs and a central burner. 13 inches tall. 44 troy ounces . Made in Sheffield 1904. £730.

N.101: A circular silver spirit kettle of compressed melon shape, the body with central reeded band, silver overhead scroll handle with shell mounts, hinged lid, anenome finial, silver stand and burner on 3 cast triple scroll legs and shell feet. 12 inches high. 54 troy ounces ( 1647 grams ). Made in Birmingham 1912 by Elkington & Co. £850

M.280: A large silver spirit kettle of plain rounded rectangular form with a gadrooned border, double scroll overhead handle with an ivory grip and finial, the stand with a pierced apron on double scroll legs supporting a central silver burner with plated regulator, 13 inches tall, 55 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1926. £800.

M.270: A retangular shaped silver spirit kettle on a pierced stand with 4 fluted legs and paw feet, detachable circular silver burner, part fluted body with dentil moulded borders and scroll and shell corners. Overhead ebony and silver fluted handle and ebony finial. 13 inches tall. 48 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1913 by Walker & Hall. £750

M.196: A silver spirit kettle of 14 sided polyhedron shape on a circular stand with 3 panelled legs holding a 14 sided burner with ajustable wick, the kettle with plain black curved composition handle and finial.  11.5 inches tall. Gross weight 35 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1919 by M & S Ltd. £600.

 

L.648 Silver Spirit Kettle                 

L.648: An Edwardian silver spirit kettle of shaped rectangular form with a double scroll leaf capped central fruitwood handle on shell supports, gadrooned border, rectangular stand with 4 leaf capped legs and claw feet, fitted with original circular burner. Lion's head crest. 12.5 inches high. 43 troy ounces. Made in London 1910 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. £650.

 

L.610 Victorian Silver Spirit Kettle   

L.610: A large Victorian silver spirit kettle of circular form, the upper body and lid chased with acanthus shaped panels, the lower part with a plain girdle above fluted decoration, bead edged cape and finial, cast reeded handle applied with acanthus leaf moulding, standing on a detachable base of 3 beaded legs with leaf and paw feet, original  central burner, chains and pins attached. 14 inches tall. 62 troy ounces. made in Birmingham 1878 by Frederick Elkington. £1000.

 

L.434 Silver Spirit Kettle                   

L.434: An Edwardian silver spirit kettle of bulbous rectangular form on a plain stand with leaf capped legs and claw feet, the ebony handle also similarly applied, the rim applied with a shell and gadrooned border, domed hinged lid with ebony finial, engraved circular burner. 11.5 inches tall, 8.25 inches across the spout. 33 troy ounces. made in Birmingham 1910. ( the burner London 1875 ). £550.

L.220 A Victorian silver spirit kettle of oval form made in the Queen Ann style, the body and domed lid partially fluted, sitting on an oval frame with reeded legs and fluted burner, attached to the kettle with the original silver pins on chains. fruitwood handle and urn shaped finial.  47 troy ounces ( 1433 grams ), 13.5 inches tall. Made in Sheffield 1897. £800

K.462 A Victorian rectangular silver spirit kettle standing on a rectangular silver frame with 4 scroll feet and a central burner. The kettle half fluted and with incurved corners , cape top, half fluted hinged lid with ebony finial & ebony handle mounted on a silver frame. 11.4 inches tall. 40 troy ounces ( 1220 grams ). K.684 A good quality 20th.Century silver spirit kettle of circular form, the central triple scroll handle with ebony centre and matching finial. The rim applied with cast  flowers & scrollwork. The kettle sitting on a 4 legged stand with floral mounts fitted with an adjustable burner. 11.5 inches tall. 46 troy ounces( 1400 grams). Made in Birmingham 1921/2 by Elkington & Co. £750.
