O.367:  A Scottish  silver mounted ram's horn snuff mull ingraved in itallics: David Wilkie Wright Kinglassie, 4 inches across. circa 1800.  £300.

O.278: A Scottish cow horn snuff mull with white metal mounts the hinged lid with an applied stylised white metal thistle and a decorative cartouche inscribed with the initials W.S. 5 inches long. circa 1840   £300.

 

O.277: A Scottish ram's horn silver mounted snuff mull, the hinged lid with reeded mounts and thumb piece. 3 inches long. circa 1790. £300.

O.257: A George IV oblong silver snuff box with engine turned decoration and cast foliate thumb piece, the lid applied with a horse racing scene. 3.1 inches long, 1 inch high. Made in London 1823 by John Linnit. £360.

O.277: A good quality Victorian rectangular silver snuff box with a foliate cast border, incurved reeded sides and recessed engine turned base.  gilded interior, 3 x 2 inches, the lid enscribed:

O.71 Silver Horn Vinaigrette                     

O.71: A rare Scottish blonde ram's horn vinaigrette, the hinged silver cover chased with thistles and set with a cairngorm, the gilded interior with a quatrefoil pierced silver grill, chain and finger ring. 2.25 inches long. circa 1880. £500.

 

O.72: A rare silver mounted ram 's horn vinaigrette, the silver cover set with a cabochon garnet and chased with thistles, pivoting ball hinge, vacant shield shaped cartouche, gilded interior with a pull off grill pierced with dots, chain and finger ring. 2.5 inches long. Made for the Scottish market by Collins & Cook Birmingham 1887. £560. 

 

O.32 Victorian Silver Vinaigrette               

O.32: A small early Victorian silver vinaigrette with scroll work decoration and a central oval vacant cartoche, raised foliate border, prick dot decoration to the sides, engine turned foliate decoration on the back. Plain pierced grill, gilded interior.   2 x 1.5 cms. Made in Birmingham 1840 by Nathanial Mills. £180

 

O.37: A Georgr IV curved rectangular silver snuff box with diamond and lozenge engine turned decoration to the front, concealed hinged lid, central cartouche engraved with the initials G. P.  in itallics. Prick-dot and foliate decoration to the sides and back.  Gilded interior. 5 x 3.5 cms. Made in Birmingham 1825 by Joseph Wilmore. £260.

 

O.11: A George II cartouche shaped silver snuff box, the lid applied with scroll work decoation and a bird in a foliate landscape.Curved fluted base and sides, inscribed undrneath. E*B. Lightly gilded interior.  7 x 5 cms. Made in London 1753 by Robert Cox. £280.

 

N.835 Georgian Silver Vinaigrette                 

N.835: A George IV rectangular silver vinaigrette the lid with a raised floral edge and decorated with foliate panels, central vacant cartouche, floral engraving on the base. The grill engraved with a foliate and zig-zag pattern (click here). 3cms. long. Made in Birmingham 1827 by Thomas Newbold. £220

 

N.236 Antique Silver Vinaigrette         

N.236: A William IV rectangular silver vinaigrette the base engraved with a floral pattern, the lid decorated with amoeba, central vacant oval cartouche. Plain pierced grill. 30mm long. Made in Birmingham 1831 by Francis Clarke. £200.
