| Silver Teapots ck on photos for larger view) O.286: A George III circular silver teapot on four paw feet with leaf supports, leaf capped scroll handle with floral decoration, the body and domed lid profusely decorated with floral borders, flower finial. cartouche engraved with the initials J.G.S. for John Gilliam Stilwell. A further cartouche verso engraved with the inscription: " To Mr & Mrs John Gilliam Stilwell on their Weddind Day, 7th. June 1831. from Lord Byron, Captain R.N." ( George Anson Byron was the 7th. Baron Byron and inherited his title from the poet George Gordon Byron). Made in London 1801. £550.
O.128 A large William IV silver teapot of oval can shape on a flat base with beaded rims, flush hinged domed lid, ivory handle and finial, the lid,body and spout with bright-cut foliate decoration, vacant oval cartouche on both sides. 12 inches ( 31.5 cms. ) across the handle. 28 troy ounces gross weight. Made in London 1830 by John Angell. £600. L. 218: A large Victorian silver teapot of ovoid shape on a rim foot, the upper body and spout flat chased with strapwork ,diaper and foliate decoration, silver button finial and C scroll handle, hinged lid with applied shell decoration. Lion with shield crest. 11 inches across the handle. 26 troy ounces. Made in DUBLIN 1840 by James Fry. £750.

Hester Bateman Silver Teapot H.686: A good quality 18th. century silver teapot of plain oval form made by HESTER BATEMAN. Domed lid with Adam style finial & concealed hinge. Beading to top & bottom edges, plain spout, ebony handle. 10 inches long. Very crisp hallmarks including the rare incuse head mark for London 1785. £2200.
