N.962: A large early Edwardian silver potato ring pierced and embossed in the Irish manner featuring swans on a lake, trees, flowers, a farmer blowing a horn and cows. Large vacant scrollwork cartouche either side. Diameter of base 8.8 inches, 4 inches high. 16 troy ounces. Made in London 1902 in Britannia standard silver(.950). £1000.
N.403: A late Victorian 2 handled silver fruit bowl on a pedestal foot with an octafoil shaped rim, the spiral fluted bowl alternatively embossed with floral decoration, cast caryatid handles. 3.5 inches high, 10 inches diameter across the handles. 11 troy ounces. N.371: A late Victorian circular silver rose/fruit bowl with a turned reeded rim on a pedestal foot, the body embossed with fluting, various flowers and foliate decoration. 5.2 inches high. 8 inches diameter. 20 troy ounces. N.189: A plain modern silver rose bowl with a turned lip on a spreading circular foot, the bowl divided by horizontal lines and applied with a stylised rose, standing on a hand turned wooden socle. 18 troy ounces. 7 inches diameter. Inscribed underneath: "Designed for The Year of The Rose by Algernon Asprey". Made in London 1976 by Algernon Asprey. £360.
M.390: An Irish silver potato ring of usual waisted form pierced with a houses and buildings, a cow, dog, cat, bird, trees, shepherdess and a man playing a horn. Vacant central cartouche. Base diameter 6.7 inches, top 6.2 inches. 3.3 inches high. Made in Dublin 1922 by Wakelin and Wheeler. £1150.
M.383: A good quality early 20th. century silver bowl on a bead edged circular pedestal foot, the bowl applied with a cast engine turned rim and freize of bows and garlands on a bead edged girdle. 25 troy ounces, 7.3 inches diameter, 5.5 inches tall. 950 silver standard, made in France by Arisler & Carre' of Paris. Bearing import marks for Thomas & Co. Bond St. London 1912. £440. L.713: An Edwardian silver rose bowl on a plain spreading circular foot, the partially fluted bowl embossed with diaper, foliate and scrollwork, turned rim, vacant cartouche front and back. Made in Birmingham 1905. £340.
