A silver chalice on a tapering pedestal foot with a multi-fluted knopped stem, the bowl gilt lined with a silver-gilt rim. The foot engraved with a cross and latin inscription : CALICEM SALVTARIS ACCIPIAM ET NOMIN DOMINI INVOCABO. 6 inches high. 15 troy ounces. no hallmarks. Original fitted wooden case with brass carrying handle, lock and key. English circa 1900.
