L.866: A good quality mid eighteenth century style silver gilt sugar caster on a circular spreading foot, the body embossed with ribbons, garlands and flowers, detachable pierced lid with gadrooned edge and acanthus leaf finial. 8 inches tall. 8 troy ounces. Made in London 1901 by Charles Stuart Harris. In original fitted red leather case. £420.
