Irish Silver Sugar Bowl R.68

A large Irish rectangular silver sugar bowl with scroll handles on 4 ball feet. The shaped border witha reeded edge above a chased band decorated with cross hatch and foliate decoration. Blank rectangular cartouche to the front, a similar one to the rear engraved with the initials C M C in decorative script. 8.6 troy ounces. 8.6 inches across the handles. Made in Dublin 1812 by Richard Sawyer.
