O.424: An 18th. century silver goblet with a spreading gadrooned edge foot, gadrooned single knop and plain bowl, gilded interior. 6.5 inches tall. Made in London 1772 by Walter Brind. £560.

 

O.06 Irish Silver Goblet                               

O.06: A Georgian silver goblet the cup embossed with flowers, scrollwork and sunburst decoration, vacant quatrefoil cartouche, spreading circular foot with reeded, dentil and sunburst decoration. 6.5 inches high. 10 troy ounces. Made in Dublin 1800 by Daniel Egan. £500.

N.820 Georgian Silver Loving Cup              

 

N.820: A George II campana shaped silver loving cup on a spreading pedestal foot  with double scroll leaf capped handles, later decorated with grape bearing vines, flowers and scroll work.  6.2 inches tall. 19 troy ounces. Made in London 1754 by Thomas Rowe. £600.

 

N.652 Georgian Silver Loving Cup               

N.652: An 18th. century 2 handled campana shaped silver loving cup with a moulded rim , central girdle and spreading pedestal foot. The body later decorated with foliate scroll work, cartouche containing 3 contemporary conjoined initials, gilded interior. 6.5 inches high. 13 troy ounces. Made in London 1792 by Peter & Ann Bateman. £450.

N.569: An 18th. century George III  silver loving cup on a spreading pedestal foot with capped double scrolled handles, the body later decorated with floral lattice and scroll work. 7 inches tall. 18 troy ounces. Made in London 1774 by William Cripps. £680.

N.497: A George III silver loving cup on a spreading circular foot with double scroll leaf capped handles, later chased with ribbons and floral garlands. 8 inches high. 18 troy ounces. Made in London 1781 by John Carter. £700

 

N.396: An 18th. century 2 handled silver loving cup on a spreading circular foot with capped double scroll handles. Later embossed with a scene of 2 horses approaching the winning post cheered on by spectators in the grandstand above. Verso: embossed with a jockey and horse in the countryside, above vacant cartouche with a tree and landscape serround.  5.5 inches tall. Made in London 1783 by Thomas Wallis. £650.

N.387: An 18th. century campana shaped 2 handled silver loving cup of plain form on a stepped circular foot with leaf capped triple scroll handles, gilded interior. 5.1 inches tall. 10.5 troy ounces. Made in London 1762 by Fuller White £480.

N.231 Victorian Silver Goblet       

N.231: A late Victorian silver goblet of ovoid form on 3 cast scroll feet. Shield shaped vacant cartouche. 4.5 inches tall. Made in London 1887 by Frederick Elkington & Co. £200.

 

N.225 Victorian Silver Goblet       

N.225: A good quality Victorian silver goblet with a bell shaped bowl, knopped beaded stem and bead edged spreading circular foot, the bowl and foot engraved with an engine turned zig-zag ribbon patern over a reeded band. 7.5 inches tall. Made in London 1866 by WH. £400.

 

M.811 Victorian Silver Goblet      

M.811: A good quality mid Victorian campana shaped silver goblet with a leaf moulded girdle above the stem, embossed  with roses and rose leaves, vacant cartouche to either side with foliate serround. 6.6 inches tall. 8 troy ounces. Made in London 1858 by Roberts & Briggs. £460.

 

M.70 Irish Silver Loving Cup        

M.70: A large good quality Irish silver loving cup with leaf capped double scroll handles, pedestal foot embossed with acanthus leaf decoration, the body of the cup heavily embossed with fruit,flowers and foliate scroll work. I cartouche engraved with contemporary initials and lion head crest, the other inscribed Nen Castle Course Co. Limerick 1828. 8 inches tall, 10.5 across the handles. 32 troy ounces. Made in Dublin 1785 by Matthew West . £1000.

 

L.668 Georgian Silver Porringer  

L.668: An early George III silver porringer on a spreading reeded foot with plain loop handles, the body decorated in the style of Queen Ann with a rope twist girdle, fluting and floral surrounded heart shaped vacant cartouche. 4 inches tall. Made in London 1762 by William & Robert Peaston. £500.

 

 

L.720 Georgian Silver Cup             

L.720: A George III silver 2 handled trophy or loving cup with double scroll leaf capped notch edged handles, the capana shaped body  and foot later decorated with flowers and scroll work, vacant cartouche to either side. 9 inches tall, 27 troy ounces. Made in London 1806. £850.

L.667: A George III silver goblet of plain form, the stem with a knop girdle and plain spreading foot. 6.5 inches tall. Made in London 1790 by John Willis. £600.
