N.225: A good quality Victorian silver goblet with a bell shaped bowl, knopped beaded stem and bead edged spreading circular foot, the bowl and foot engraved with an engine turned zig-zag ribbon patern over a reeded band. 7.5 inches tall. Made in London 1866 by WH. £400.
M.811: A good quality mid Victorian campana shaped silver goblet with a leaf moulded girdle above the stem, embossed with roses and rose leaves, vacant cartouche to either side with foliate serround. 6.6 inches tall. 8 troy ounces. Made in London 1858 by Roberts & Briggs. £460.
M.70: A large good quality Irish silver loving cup with leaf capped double scroll handles, pedestal foot embossed with acanthus leaf decoration, the body of the cup heavily embossed with fruit,flowers and foliate scroll work. I cartouche engraved with contemporary initials and lion head crest, the other inscribed Nen Castle Course Co. Limerick 1828. 8 inches tall, 10.5 across the handles. 32 troy ounces. Made in Dublin 1785 by Matthew West . £1000.
L.668: An early George III silver porringer on a spreading reeded foot with plain loop handles, the body decorated in the style of Queen Ann with a rope twist girdle, fluting and floral surrounded heart shaped vacant cartouche. 4 inches tall. Made in London 1762 by William & Robert Peaston. £500.
L.720: A George III silver 2 handled trophy or loving cup with double scroll leaf capped notch edged handles, the capana shaped body and foot later decorated with flowers and scroll work, vacant cartouche to either side. 9 inches tall, 27 troy ounces. Made in London 1806. £850.
