A George IV Irish silver salver of circular form on 4 foliate paw bracket feet,foliate shell border. The centre embossed with foliate scrollwork and engraved with an armorial of the Wexford family impaling Sutton of Ballykeroguemore Castle. Latin motto "Fide et fortitude deus providebit" 15.5 inches diameter, 51 troy ounces (1580 grams). Made in Dublin 1823 by James Scott, retailed by Law.
