Georgian Silver Coffee Pot Q.923

A George IV Scottish silver coffee pot of tapering cylindrical form on a spreading circular foot with a fruit-wood double scroll handle, leaf capped spout, ogee domed hinged lid with a shell and scroll rim with a leafy bud finial. Engraved with monogram "JN" in script. 23.6 oz. 11 inches high. Made in Edinburgh 1820 by J. McKay.
