O.417 A circular silver tazza on a spreading pedestal foot with a single knopped stem, the upcurved bowl divided into 16 pierced panels. 10 inches diameter, 6.5 inches high. 16 troy ounces. Made in Birmingham 1937.  £400.

 

O.412 Georgian Silver Fruit Basket

O.412: An 18th. century navette shaped oval silver fruit basket on a reeded oval pedestal foot, with a reeded swing handle. The reeded bowl later decorated with birds, scrolls and flowers. Central cartouche engraved with the letter B. 14 inches long. 21 troy ounces. Made in London 1797 by Napthali Hart. £900.

 

N.985 Silver Fruit Basket              

N.985: An oval silver fruit or bread basket on four double scroll feet with a pierced swing handle and shaped pierced gallery. 10.5 inches long, 8.5 inches to the top of the handle. 24 troy ounces. Made in Birmingham 1934. £350.

N.239: A silver pedestal fruit dish or tazza , the sexfoil pedestal foot pierced with floral decoration, the 12 lobed incurved bowl similarly pierced. 8.5 inches diameter, 7.5 inches high. 24 troy ounces. Made in Birmingham 1919. £400.

L.308: A rectangular silver bread or fruit basket with a serpentine edge the 4 corners pierced with scroll work ,the shaped basket on an oval spreading foot,  reeded swing handle with a reeded central cartouche. 10.5 inches long. 20 troy ounces. Made in Sheffield 1927. £380.

 

L.264 Georgian Silver Basket          

L.264 A George III swing handled silver fruit basket of rectangular shape with an applied border of gadrooning and foliate decoration, the waisted foot with gadrooned edging, plain handle with wheatsheaf cartouche engraved with a gothic letter D. 12 inches long, 9 inches to top of handle. 30 troy ounces. made in Sheffield 1816 by Thomas Blagden & Co.  £900.

K.702: A rectangular silver bread basket with wavy shaped sides and similar swing handle on 4 ball feet, the 4 sides pierced with foliate decoration. 10 inches (25.5cm.) long. 13 troy ounces (396 grams). Made in Birmingham 1925. £240.

K.501: An Edwardian circular silver fruit stand or tazza,with a wide border intricately pierced with palm,scroll & floral patterns. plain bowl & spreading circular foot. 26 cms. diameter. 16 cms. tall. 20 troy ounces( 610 grams.) made in Sheffield 1902. £480.

 

K.162 George III Silver Fruit Basket   

K.162: A George III rectangular silver swing-handled fruit basket on a plain rectangular foot. The bowl with a shaped edge applied with scroll, shell & gadrooned decoration, the centre with a wolf crest & 3 italic initials, the swing handle with a double reeded edge. 12.5 inches long x 10.5 inches wide. 33 troy ounces(1 kilo). Made in London 1809 by Robert & Samuel Hennell. £980.

 

Victorian silver fruit basket J.519        

J.519: An early Victorian silver panelled fruit basket on a moulded hexagonal foot. The edge embossed with decorative pierced floral scrollwork,the body composed of 12 rounded panels around a plain centre.The crested swing handle applied with reeding & foliage. 9.5 inches diameter. Made in Birmingham 1843. £500

J.625: A plain George III silver basket of oblong shape with a moulded border on a conforming foot, central crest & motto. 12 inches long, 30 troy ounces. made by Solomon Hougham in London 1810. £950
