Antique Russian Silver Box R.58

A 19th. century oval silver box the sides embossed with foliate decoration and niello work. The lid set with a Pietra Dura hard-stone panel of a bird and butterfly. 6.5 cm. long. 4.5 high. Unmarked, engraved with Cyrillic characters H.K. outlined in niello. Russian circa 1830.
