A nineteenth century gilt metal chatelaine. The oval pierced clip set with amethyst coloured stones with 4 gilt metal chains supporting a gilt metal mesh purse, an oval thimble case, a gilt metal and mother of pearl magnifying glass set with green coloured stones and a heart shaped silver-gilt vinaigrette or locket opening to reveal a pierced grill marked Gorham sterling 1889. 13.5 inches long. North American circa 1880.
